In 2012, 44 percent of female small business owners had children under the age of 18 in their household. That means by supporting women-owned businesses, you’re also supporting families.
In 1972, women owned only 4.6% of all businesses in the United States. Women now own 42% of businesses in the United States.

She personally loved the idea of recycling her kids’ clothes and having a place to find cute styles and brands that her kids wanted, but didn’t like paying that much for. Her daughter Josie was a baby when the store first opened, and now Josie can be one of the smiling faces greeting customers.
