A famous place in London, Southbank is one of the best places to walk in London.
Stroll through the London Eye and follow the River Thames Promenade, stopping at all the joints of your choice.
Don’t forget to stop at the market stalls and eat all the food at the OXO Tower along historic Klink Street (famous for its historic jail). They usually take place on weekends and holidays around the National Arena.
On top of that, really, go to the National Theater – it has some of the best plays in London.

Oh, and don’t forget to visit Winchester Castle on Clink Street. This is one of London’s ruined palaces that most people forget to visit.
Finally, book tickets for a cruise on the River Thames. Below are some of our favorites. They are great fun and a great way to explore London. Remember to book in advance so you get a spot on the boat.
Not far from the Southbank, Bermondsey Street (and the surrounding area) is one of my favorite and best places in London.
Cute little boutiques, independent coffee spots (like a Victorian watch-house) and even a glass studio where you can try your hand at glassblowing. It’s good.

Now, even though Bermondsey Street isn’t technically a neighborhood of its own, it has a distinct feel that sets it apart from the rest of central London. It almost has a small town feel.
For food, pop into the Garrison Public House and try their delicious British pub grub.
